Cherubs

I bought a box of cherub tomatoes yesterday, and except for their fancy little size (grapes shown in the photo for scale), the nice packaging and the high price, I did not find them much different from the Roma tomatoes... This is how they take advantage of the berry-size-fond people - the miniature-size appeal! Sliced tomatoes with sugar sprinkled on top of them has been my all time favorite snack. A new lesson that I learnt about storing them is that we should never refrigerate it - to be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight... Now, I know how we have been culturing rotten tomatoes in cold storage!
